lejbelle was created from a fascination with beautiful things made with intention — from the craftsmanship and materials behind a piece to the way it becomes part of someone's personal style.

The name lejbelle is personal to me. "lej" comes from my initials, while "belle" means beautiful in French. Together, they became the inspiration behind our philosophy: Made Beautiful.

For me, Made Beautiful is about more than the pieces themselves. It is about craftsmanship, character, individuality and expression — and ultimately, the person who wears them.

Our Story

I have always been fascinated by Africa — its colours, creativity, traditions and extraordinary craftsmanship. Through lejbelle, I want to help bring more attention to the beauty of traditional African craftsmanship, unique materials and the skilled artisans behind these pieces.

Our jewellery is created in collaboration with artisans in South Africa, using a variety of distinctive materials and traditional techniques. Each piece is carefully shaped, assembled and finished by hand, giving it its own character and individuality.

Alongside our jewellery, silk scarves form another part of the lejbelle collection. I chose silk for its timeless beauty, quality and versatility — a simple accessory that can be styled in countless ways and remain part of your wardrobe for years to come.
